We have one of these formal dresses in stock in our size 10. It is a silver platinum fabric with crystal beading. It can be shipped immediately upon payment and receipt of your order form. We can ship to any location in the us or canada. We accept all forms of payment.

This one shown in black can be made with all crystals or if you like the design and cut but want to spend less you can request this item to be made with bugle beads and/or sequin instead of crystals and the price will drop dramtically. That is what is special about working with our design firm. We allow any and all modifications to try and fit within what our clients need.

Shopping for Bridal Gowns & Evening Wear Dresses on-Line by Darius Cordell Couture

Shopping for a evening dresses and wedding gowns is not the same as shopping for a blouse or jeans.  Evening dresses and formal ball gowns need to be made for you and your body. And formal dresses off the rack were not made for you. Therefore sometimes they will look good on the hanger and not look good on you when you try it on.

Understand with any evening wear or bridal design…instead of using fit or trying on as criteria for looking good on…. better criteria is to say does the dress in the picture cover what I want to cover, and does it show what I want to show. If it does (either with or without changes) then you simply need to have it made according to you individual needs & preferences (again either with or without changes) in your own specific and personal measurements so that it will fit on you how you want, be made according to your specific body shape & hit on your body where you need it to – unlike any other bridal gowns and evening dresses you may have tried on off the rack that did not look good on – which again is because it was not made to your specific body shape but instead in that designers stock sizes.

With our company here at darius cordell couture, you can either…..choose a size from our size chart…..OR…..you can have us make your garment made in your specific personal measurements – which incurs a 15% surcharge.

Also keep in mind that alterations, fittings, modifications, changes or adjustments (for your body), if ever necessary, can be easily done by any one of your local tailors, seamstresses, or alterationist.

Designer Darius Cordell Company Bio – Couture Formal Ball Gowns, Mother of Bride Dresses, Plus Size Bridal Gowns, Pageant Dresses

Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Darius moved to Norman Oklahoma in 1987 after graduation from Lake Highlands High School to attend the University of Oklahoma. It was during this time in college that Darius confirmed it was the world of couture was one of his major passions and that he wanted to become a fashion designer specializing in unique evening gowns, special occasion dresses, and informal bridal wedding dresses.

After some moderate local success in Oklahoma, Darius as a new designer decided that he was ready to take his evening wear designs to the national level. It was then, that the marriage of determination, compassion, design, & fashion sense were perfectly melded into Darius producing his own designer collection of high end formal evening wear gowns.

He introduced his first collection at the Atlanta Apparel Market in October of 1996. This was the beginning of the label taking its rightful place as a contender in the pageant gown arena. Just over a year later, Darius as a new designer introduced his first collection of informal wedding dresses & plus size bridal gowns that has since evolved into a successful line on its own.

The design firm that was soon incorporated. In the early days exhibited designs exclusively only to bridal salons and retail stores for years from a private showroom within the Dallas International Apparel Market. The company also attended other regional wholesale markets in Chicago, Las Vegas and New York.

In 1998 the company relocated back to Darius’ native home of Dallas Texas where he has experimented with selling his pageant gowns & mother of the bride dresses to select retail clients in the Dallas Metroplex area via his private studio. A year later in 1999 the company’s website was born and open the doors to a plethora of new mail order retail clients world wide.

Darius Cordell Designs still offers the pageant gowns & formal evening wear collection wholesale to retailers for resale via regional markets for even further exposure nationwide. However the direct consumer response locally via mail order through the internet, retail, has been great. Recently the company moved their offices to an upscale retail studio showcasing the entire collection. We are now open to the retail public (as well as the wholesale community) from a new location in Hackberry Crossing office park that is located just minutes from the Stonebriar mall in Frisco which is just 25 miles north of Dallas.
